Workers Registration Scheme
The eight countries involved in the Workers Registration Scheme are:
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. If you're from one of these countries and you get employment in the UK for more than one month you must apply for the Workers Registration Scheme Visa.
The Workers Registration Scheme Visa monitors new European Economic Area (EEA) nationals that are coming to work in the UK for their first 12 months of employment. If the appropriate requirements are met beyond this period, non-visa nationals from these countries will be able to apply for an EEA Residence permit. With this permit the applicant will then be free to move throughout the UK.
